The 2011 Gardening Season Has Begun!

We've finally been able to get our hands in the dirt. The new gardens from last year seem to have weathered the winter well. There are still a few shrubs that we're waiting to see whether they've suffered winter kill.

We've started on this year's first (and maybe only) big project - stone around the original garden with retaining walls to create terraces. We're not going to rush it but will work at it as we have the time. Of course, our progress will be captured on the Original Garden page. Stay tuned!
